The core focus at Zymosense Inc. is the development of simple, accurate, automation-compatible assays for sensing enzymes to enable their discovery and optimization. Enzymes are key to many industrial biotech markets providing sustainable fuels, food, and materials.

Our assays are built on enriched single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNT) which we also supply to diverse markets including biosensors, optoelectronics, and advanced materials.

Zymosense Inc. was founded in 2021 by Dr. Nigel Reuel and Dr. Nathaniel Kallmyer to commercialize their portfolio of inventions from research completed at Iowa State University. We conduct all research and product formulation in our facility at the Iowa State Research Park, Ames, IA (USA made).
